Since 2003 I have performed at numerous venues and events, including the Whitney Museum, MoMA PS1, Performa, WOW Cafe Theater, Leslie Lohman Museum, Art in Odd Places, the Støros Music Festival and the Osaka Queer Film Festival. I performed in solo shows and with Harmattan Theater, CUMUL, the Hungry Hearts and The Holy, as well as in collaboration with various visual artists and filmmakers. You can find archival documentation of some of these performances below. Hurricane Sandy destroyed much of New York’s coastline. Many communities continue to reel from the after shock of the unprecedented storm surge. Harmattan’s performance Far Rockaway is a communal reclamation of a neighborhood vulnerable to the sea.

The Portuguese colonized the Kerala Coast in the 1500s. They left their names, language, culture, memories, forts, food, customs, and violent history behind. In a post-colonial re-visiting of encounters, material remains, memories and history, Mar Portugues is a performative reengagement with Fernando Pessoa's notion of the Portuguese Sea, in a post-imperial moment.
